New on events.xyz: paid events! 🤑

You can now charge guests to RSVP to your events. Simply let @matthew know how much you want to charge and the address to send the funds to and that’s it! Guests will see a new “Join for [X] UDSC” button in the @event frame.

The app currently supports USDC on Base. Under the hood it’s just a simple token-transfer—no other contract calls. We don’t plan to add additional networks or currencies at this time.

Notes:

• This is highly experimental, so it will roll out gradually over the coming weeks
• It does not work with manual approvals — you’ll need to either allow everyone to buy in or limit by one or more NFTs.
• If a guest accidentally tries to RSVP twice, they will automatically see the “going” frame.
